Sempai Steve Colvin
Sempai Steve has been Shihan Bob's lead student since the inception of the
Lusby program. A 1st Kyu Brown Belt, Sempai Steve has a great affinity for
teaching...especially young people. Grounded in his fear of God, Sempai Steve is
known for his compassionately "grueling" physical workouts during class. His
students respect his energy, skill, and demeanor. Sempai Steve is presently a
nursing student at the College of Southern Maryland. In 2004, Steve attended the
War at the Shore WAKO tournament and was the Welterweight Champion. He plans on
defending that Title this January in Atlantic City. Sempai Steve is a fierce
competitor and trains his body and mind daily incorporating weight training,
aerobics and high intensity interval training.
